- Add the overlay to OBS Make it a Browser Source at 1920×1080 and 30 FPS, with “Shutdown source when not visible” off. The setup page gives you the link. Add
&demo=1to it to watch demo fighters duel before you go live. - Turn off the Duel module It's a built-in StreamElements module. With it off, only one bot answers duel commands.
- Paste 12 commands into StreamElements Each reply is ready to copy: duels (
!challenge,!fight,!decline,!rematch), ranks (!elo,!ranks), help (!fray,!look) and coins and pets (!checkin,!wallet,!pay,!pet). You can rename them. - Let your moderators help Optional They can manage fighters, ranks and settings.
Setup takes about 10 minutes, after one Twitch sign-in
PixFray is free. You need OBS and a StreamElements account, because the StreamElements bot answers the duel commands in your chat; Nightbot, Fossabot and other chat bots can't run them. After you sign in, the Stream setup page checks off each step as it starts working.
PixFray asks Twitch for one permission: your moderator list
What PixFray reads
- Your public Twitch name, from sign-in
- Your moderator list (
moderation:read), so your mods can open mod controls
What PixFray never does
- Post in chat as you
- Change your channel, title or settings
- See your email or stream key
You can turn PixFray off at any time from the Stream setup page. Fighters and ranks are kept, so turning it back on picks up where you left off. Up to 200 channels can have PixFray on at once; if it's full, this page says so.
PixFray is open source
The overlay, the site and the server are MIT-licensed, and the character art is CC0. Read the code, report a bug, or run your own copy on a Cloudflare account.
Your chat gets its own arena after one sign-in
Sign in with the Twitch account you stream on, and the Stream setup page walks you through the four steps above.
